After a light training session following the Champions League match last week, Neymar wanted to train more. He wanted to do some specialized ball exercises with the reserve team players. However, coach Unai Emery flatly refused the Brazilian striker's request.
According to L'Equipe, Neymar got angry when he was rejected. He angrily kicked the ball straight into the wall right in front of coach Emery and his teammates, before going into the locker room.
The act took place in front of many people, including guest basketball star Kobe Bryant."At first I thought he was joking," Bryant shared later.
French media reported that the conflict between Neymar and coach Emery disrupted the preparation for the away trip to Marseille. As a result, PSG could only get a 2-2 draw in the match in round 9 of Ligue 1 on the evening of October 22. In this match, Neymar scored the equalizer 1-1 but in the 87th minute he was sent off for receiving a second yellow card.
Neymar's move to PSG was the most sensational deal of the summer transfer window. The Brazilian striker paid Barca 263 million dollars to break his contract and move to France. However, his relationship with his new team has been constantly broken. A few weeks ago, Neymar had a "civil war" with Edison Cavani over the right to take free kicks.
