Russia criticizes the West for making Ukraine increasingly "delusional"

Foreign Minister Lavrov said that instead of implementing the provisions of the Minsk Agreement and establishing a dialogue with the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, what Kiev should do now is to adjust its "illusions" about joining the Donbass occupation forces with the support of Western countries.

The Russian Foreign Minister warned that Kiev is increasingly using military-historical threats to resolve conflicts. At the same time, the Russian diplomat called on those considered to be the "defenders" of the Kiev government to enlighten and educate their "wards", making Kiev abandon plans to blockade Donbass, as well as discriminate against ethnic minorities.

Mr. Lavrov emphasized that Russia is always ready to participate and support the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in fulfilling its mission in Ukraine.

The issue of peacekeeping in Donbass is becoming one of the main topics at UN meetings. The Ukrainian government has always emphasized that UN peacekeeping operations must be of a "large mission" nature with forces spread across the territory of Donbass, even approaching the border with Russia.
