Moscow and Beijing have experience in developing infrared search and tracking systems, the author of the article points out. In addition, the defense industries of both countries have airborne data exchange networks.
"As soon as China and Russia can communicate via high-speed data links two or more fighters equipped with long-range infrared search and track systems, they will have a large number of components to create a system that can counter stealth technology," the article said.
The National Interest also notes that the modernization of combat technology is only a matter of time. And protecting the US F-35 and F-22 from the development of new systems seems to be an impossible task.
