Russia will not join the US in its efforts to contain China's rise
Russia will not join the United States in trying to contain China's rise, and no one will do anything to sow discord between Moscow and Beijing, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"No one is trying to sow discord between us and China. Someone in Washington is inclined to play the Russian card in the game with China. But I am sure that our Chinese friends know this game well... Of course, we cannot and will not join the United States in opposing the rise of China. Everything is absolutely clear here," Ryabkov said in an interview with the magazine "International Situation".
