Russia will react if Sweden and Finland are “dragged” into NATO
Sweden and Finland joining NATO is a matter of concern, affecting global security and Russia will react.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said yesterday (July 24) that Russia will react in case Sweden and Finland are "dragged" into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
According to Mr. Shoigu, such expansion of NATO membership would affect global security and Sweden and Finland joining NATO is a matter of concern.

“The steps taken by Western colleagues will lead to the destruction of the current world security system, create distrust and force Russia to take countermeasures,” Mr. Shoigu stated./.
