On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the results of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly.
At the conference, Dien Chau voters expressed their confidence and excitement at the successful results of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly. The National Assembly has made many innovations, especially the issues that voters have proposed have been discussed in the National Assembly forums, in which the approval of draft laws related to people's rights shows the National Assembly's concern for voters.
Voter Truong Ngoc Khoi - Chairman of Dien Phong Commune People's Committee made a suggestion related to the national defense and security fund. Mr. Khoi cited: Every year, the budget allocates 80 million VND to Dien Phong Commune for security and defense, but every year the commune has to spend over 110 million VND for this field, while the policy is not to mobilize the national defense and security fund, so the commune faces many difficulties. It is recommended that the State should have a policy to ensure funding for national defense and security work of the communes.
According to Mr. Khoi, the road and bridge connecting the eastern districts of Dien Chau district to National Highway 1A, which have been invested in for decades, have now degraded and become seriously damaged. Local budget resources are limited, so the National Assembly is requested to propose that the Central Government, the province and the district support the construction of roads and bridges connecting the communes in the region.

Appreciating the recent session, the National Assembly passed the Law on Fisheries (amended), voter Nguyen Dinh Cao in Dien Hai commune was concerned about the current situation of marine environment pollution in many places. Along with that, the situation of exploitation, arbitrary fishing, and destruction of marine resources, affects sustainable development.
"We, the coastal voters, suggest that the National Assembly pay attention to mechanisms and policies to protect marine resources and ensure maritime security," Mr. Cao suggested.
Regarding this content, voter Nguyen Van Lieu, Dien Kim commune, reflected that due to the lack of modern, high-capacity fishing equipment, fishermen in the coastal communes of Dien Chau district only fish close to shore, causing environmental pollution and depleting marine resources.
Mr. Lieu suggested: "The State needs to pay attention to supporting people in coastal areas to invest in modern means for fishermen to go offshore to exploit marine resources, and at the same time participate in protecting the sovereignty and security of the sea and islands."
Responding to the National Assembly Delegate, voter Nguyen Xuan Dieu, Dien Kim Commune, said that all Vietnamese citizens must strictly abide by Vietnamese law, including religious followers and dignitaries. Recently, some religious dignitaries have taken advantage of religion to sabotage the government. Voters requested that the State strictly handle these subjects in accordance with the law.
