12 more vehicle owners were fined for violating the Fisheries Law
Continuing to inspect and monitor seafood exploitation activities according to the Fisheries Law, from July 8 to 18, Nghe An authorities verified and recorded records to punish 12 fishing boat owners for violations.
Specifically, on July 18, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district issued 9 decisions to sanction 9 vehicle owners, including 5 ship owners in Tien Thuy commune: Mr. Ho Khac Giap, owner of ship with license plate NA-90630-TS; Mr. Pham Ngoc Son, owner of ship with license plate NA-96678-TS; Mr. Ho Duc Tao, owner of ship with license plate NA-90668-TS; Mr. Hoang Duc Men, owner of ship with license plate NA-92456-TS; Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, owner of ship with license plate NA-96345-TS.
Similarly, two ship owners residing in Son Hai commune were fined: Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong, owner of ship with license plate NA-95079-TS and Mr. Tran Van Thanh, owner of ship with license plate NA-93487-TS; the remaining two ships belong to Mr. Ho Van Luan, owner of ship with license plate NA-94868-TS in Quynh Nghia commune and Mr. Dao Thanh Toan, owner of ship with license plate NA-90580-TS in Quynh Tho commune.

According to the Verification Record of Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, 4 owners were fined 22.5 million VND/vehicle for not complying with regulations in case the VMS monitoring device of the fishing vessel is damaged. Meanwhile, 5 vessels were fined 25 million VND/vehicle for not maintaining the VMS monitoring device during operations at sea...

During the coastal patrol and control from July 8 to 13, the provincial interdisciplinary team drew up a record of violations and transferred it to the Cua Lo Border Guard Station to impose a fine of VND10.5 million on three ship owners in Cua Lo town, Hoang Mai town and Ha Tinh for not flying the flag and not carrying full licenses when exploiting aquatic products at sea./.
