In the last days of the year, the work of population officers and medical staff of Tan Ky District Health Center becomes busier. In the final stage of implementing Project 7 under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, Tan Ky District has selected 5 contents to implement in 2023.

In particular, the first priority is given to the vulnerable group, the elderly. Through this, more than 30 communication sessions have been organized to disseminate reproductive health care knowledge to more than 2,000 elderly people in 11 communes with ethnic minorities living in many difficult communes such as: Tien Ky, Tan Hop, Dong Van, Nghia Thai, Tan Xuan and Giai Xuan...
The launch of the integrated communication campaign to provide health check-up and chronic disease screening services for the elderly held in Giai Xuan commune was an opportunity for the elderly in the commune to meet, share about life, family, and exchange about local culture and customs.

Participating in the program with enthusiasm, despite the hot weather, the elderly in the commune still came in large numbers.
