The Registration Department has resumed normal operations.
The Registry has resumed normal operations, Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang - Director of the Vietnam Registry Department confirmed.

Mr. Nguyen Chien Thang also said that currently, most inspection centers are no longer congested and are operating normally. Mr. Thang gave an example, the capacity of an inspection center can handle 100 vehicles/day, but now only about 90 vehicles come for inspection each day.
Director Nguyen Chien Thang added that after the changes in the Vehicle Inspection industry, vehicle inspection activities have shown many positive signs. That is, people have become more aware of proactively maintaining their vehicles to ensure safety before bringing them in for inspection.
In addition, instead of spontaneously going for vehicle inspection, people have formed the habit of arranging vehicle registration through online registration. This helps the Inspection Department proactively arrange work. These will also be good habits to ensure that the inspection work is more scientific.

To achieve the above results, the registration sector has actively consulted on temporary and long-term solutions. Regarding temporary solutions, the Registration sector has proposed solutions such as mobilizing police, military, and retired officials to support the Registration sector, applying automatic registration renewal solutions for some vehicles...
In particular, the solution to automatically extend the registration of passenger cars with up to 9 seats that are not used for business transportation has affected nearly 1.4 million vehicles, thereby contributing to reducing congestion in the centers.
Currently, the inspection renewal lookup system is also operating normally, with no more congestion.
Regarding long-term solutions, the Vehicle Inspection Department has advised on issuing amendments to new circulars and decrees, including the issue of exempting new vehicles from vehicle inspection.
Currently, the Vietnam Register has prepared 350 inspectors. The Ministry of Transport has submitted to the Prime Minister an adjustment to the document regulating inspection activities, so that a production line does not necessarily need three inspectors.
