(Baonghean.vn) - During the Covid-19 pandemic, non-public preschool teachers were heavily affected because many schools had to close for a long time.

On the afternoon of June 10, representatives of the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented gifts to support non-public preschool teachers in Vinh city and Cua Lo town affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.

Visiting the kindergartens: Hoa My, Hoang Thi Loan (Vinh city), SunKid (Cua Lo town), Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh shared the difficulties of kindergarten teachers in the 2019 - 2020 school year.

In particular, despite the hot weather, schools are still trying to maintain teaching and learning activities for students. The Director of the Department of Education and Training also shared with nearly 9,000 teachers and staff in the province, including more than 5,000 non-public preschool teachers facing difficulties because many schools have had to close for a long time due to the impact of Covid-19, causing their lives and incomes to be cut.

In the spirit of mutual love and support, the Education sector has recently called on the entire sector to support teachers facing many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

After nearly 2 months of launching, the whole industry has mobilized more than 1 billion VND and up to now, the industry has directly given 32.4 tons of rice and 1,150 gifts to nearly 4,400 disadvantaged teachers in the whole province.

On this occasion alone, the industry presented 238 gifts to non-public preschool teachers in Vinh city and Cua Lo town.

Although the amount of money raised is not much, it shows the solidarity, cooperation and mutual support of the province's teaching staff. The leaders of the Department of Education and Training hope that this support will provide more motivation for teachers to overcome difficulties and successfully complete their tasks for the school year.
