Dien Chau donated money to support 4 military-civilian gratitude houses and 40 wheelchairs.

Through the connection, the Red Cross Society of Dien Chau district called on and mobilized Dong Hai Military Zone 7 Company Limited to sponsor 320 million VND to build 4 new houses for 4 families in especially difficult circumstances: Mrs. Ho Thi Phuong, 94 years old, hamlet 5, Dien Trung; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phuong Anh, hamlet 11, Dien Yen; Mrs. Phan Thi Duyet, hamlet 5, Dien Yen and Mr. Nguyen Thao, hamlet 5, Dien Truong.

After 2 months of construction, the military-civilian houses of gratitude were completed (each house worth nearly 200 million VND) with the support of sponsors, as well as contributions of construction materials and working days from the Party Committee, government, brothers, and neighbors.

This time, Dien Chau Red Cross Association connected and donated 40 wheelchairs (worth 100 million VND) to 40 disabled people in the district.

Also on this occasion, units (under Military Region 7) presented 100 million VND to the district Red Cross Society to implement a livelihood support program and a bowl of loving porridge to give to the poor in Dien Chau.
