The Red Cross of Ha Nam province presented 200 national flags to fishermen in Nghi Loc district.
Implementing the program "Safety for poor and disadvantaged fishermen", on the morning of July 4, the Red Cross Society of Ha Nam province coordinated with the Red Cross Society of Nghi Loc district to organize a program to give gifts and national flags to poor and disadvantaged fishermen in the two communes of Nghi Thiet and Nghi Tien.
Attending the program, on behalf of Ha Nam province delegates, there were comrades: Tong Van Tam - Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial Red Cross Society; Tran Trong Tan - Vice Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial Red Cross Society.
Representing Nghe An province and Nghi Loc district were comrades: Pham Xuan Thach - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society; Tran Thi Anh Tuyet - Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee.

The program awarded 200 national flags to fishing boats and 200 gifts to poor fishermen and those in difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 100 million VND.
Each gift includes 10 kg of rice, milk, supplements and some other necessities. The funding was raised by the Red Cross of Ha Nam province, mobilizing organizations, businesses and benefactors to support.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Anh Tuyet - Vice Chairman of Nghi Loc District People's Committee thanked the Red Cross Society of Ha Nam province and the Red Cross Society of Nghe An province for creating conditions to support poor households and poor and disadvantaged fishermen in the district with meaningful gifts, contributing to encouraging fishermen to stay at sea with peace of mind.
