Nghe An Construction Industry affirms the province's key technical economic sector

Over the past 60 years since its inception, the Vietnamese Construction industry in general and Nghe An Construction industry in particular, under the leadership of the Party, has overcome many difficulties and challenges, achieved great achievements, successfully completed assigned tasks, established and always maintained its role as the country's key technical economic sector.

From the beginning, up to now, Nghe An Construction industry has become an industry with both state management functions and the functions of an independent, synchronous and comprehensive economic sector in construction fields such as: Building and completing legal documents on industry management, construction investment, urban and rural development, urban technical infrastructure, housing development, construction materials management, scientific and technological activities, training and international cooperation in the field of construction...

State management is clear and transparent; production, business and investment development of enterprises have high and sustainable growth; urban appearance has changed towards civilization and modernity; advanced construction science and technology, in some fields, has reached international and regional levels, initially forming a construction science and technology market, contributing significantly to the economic growth and political stability of the country.

After 60 years of construction and development, Nghe An construction industry has become an important economic and technical sector, accounting for a large proportion of about 16 to 17% of the total economic structure of the province. In 2017, the construction industry achieved a number of key targets such as: Total completed construction products in the province (GRDP) at 2010 comparable prices reached 8,807.76 billion VND, up 10.12% compared to 2016; at current prices reached 12,081.18 billion VND, up 11.3% compared to 2016; Production value (2010 fixed prices) of Nghe An construction industry in 2017 reached 30,572 billion VND, up 10.12% compared to 2016...

In recognition of the achievements of the Construction industry over the past 60 years, thousands of collectives and individuals have been awarded many noble titles by the Party and State such as: Third-class Independence Medal, First-class Resistance Medal, First, Second, Third-class Labor Medal and many other noble awards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and praised the important achievements of the Construction industry over the past 60 years. In order for the Construction industry to become a key technical economic sector with an important role in the socio-economic development of the locality, meeting the industrialization and modernization of the country, the industry needs to overcome difficulties, continue to closely follow the requirements of the local political tasks, do a good job of advising the province in planning, architecture, construction and continue to contribute to building Nghe An increasingly rich, civilized, soon becoming a well-off province in the Northern region.
