The health sector continues to promote its frontline role in epidemic prevention.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 14, Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union held a conference to summarize trade union activities in 2021 and deploy tasks for 2022.

In 2021, the whole country in general, Nghe An province and Nghe An health sector in particular must simultaneously work hard.fight against COVID-19and medical examination, treatment, and health care for the people. In that situation, the Executive Committee of the Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union directed grassroots trade unions to strictly implement epidemic prevention measures and encourage frontline medical staff.
With a sense of responsibility, creativity and desire to share, the Health Sector Trade Union has left its mark with practical and humane activities such as: Implementing a program to thank and show gratitude to the frontline against the epidemic with a total support value of more than 445 million VND; Supporting 128 health cards for 128 frontline medical staff against the epidemic; visiting, encouraging and giving gifts with a total value of 100 million VND to employees in especially difficult circumstances affected by the Covid-19 epidemic; Visiting and giving gifts to children of doctors and nurses participating in the frontline against the epidemic, with a total value of 345 million VND; Supporting F0 and F1 medical staff in centralized quarantine with 163.5 million VND; supporting units implementing "3 on-site" with 47 million VND...

In addition, the trade unions also organized collective kitchens, donated necessities, and supported 575 million VND to the team participating in epidemic prevention and F0, F1 union members; advised the government to support 250 million VND and 2 tons of rice... for the frontline forces.
Regarding social work, the Health sector's trade union responded to the call of the provincial Fatherland Front, mobilizing the entire sector to support the Covid-19 epidemic prevention fund with nearly 697 million VND; supporting the program "Week for the city named after Uncle Ho" with a total value of 50 million VND, supporting 4 doctors and nurses who had accidents at the Ky Son District Medical Center with nearly 433 million VND... completing 17/17 set targets.

The conference also pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the past year and proposed solutions and directions for 2022. Accordingly, the industry trade union will continue to focus on taking care of jobs and lives for workers, striving to fulfill the highest goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 18th Nghe An Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2018 - 2023, the Resolution of the Industry Trade Union Congress, term 2017 - 2022 and the Resolution of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Le - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Health acknowledged the significant contribution of the industry's trade union in motivating andcare for medical staffand propaganda, orientation of epidemic prevention work. In 2022, the industry's trade union needs to promote its role in propaganda and mass mobilization to stabilize the ideology of high-quality human resources, build a plan for human and financial autonomy, fulfill targets well, ensure the spiritual and material life of union members and workers...
