(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 25, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to guide the content, procedures, and order of introducing candidates for the 14th National Assembly and Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term.
Attending the conference were Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, Department of Home Affairs; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front of districts, cities, towns and agencies, organizations, units that were introduced as candidates for the 14th National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee disseminated the process of introducing and preparing profiles of candidates for the 14th National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021.
Accordingly, agencies, organizations and units assigned to nominate candidates for the 14th National Assembly and Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term must follow a 3-step procedure. Step 1, agencies, organizations and units organize a leadership meeting to discuss nominating candidates for the 14th National Assembly and Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term.
After the expected step of introducing candidates, the leadership of the agency, organization, or unit notifies the candidate to prepare a brief biography to organize a step 2 conference to collect comments from voters at the workplace or workplace of the candidate.
Step 3, based on the comments and trust of the voters' conference, the leadership of agencies, organizations and units organizes an expanded leadership conference to discuss and introduce candidates for the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term.
The time for agencies, organizations and units to discuss and agree on the introduction of candidates is from February 26 to March 10. And no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 13, 2016, agencies, organizations and units must complete and submit the candidacy dossier to the Provincial Election Committee; submit the minutes of introducing candidates and the minutes of collecting voters' opinions at the workplace to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
