March 25th every year will be 'Vietnam Social Work Day'

The Prime Minister has just decided to take March 25 every year as "Vietnam Social Work Day".

The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries, branches, agencies and localities to guide and organize the "Vietnam Social Work Day" in a practical and effective manner with the aim of honoring the noble values ​​and humanistic significance of the social work profession; recognizing the role and contributions of social workers in participating in solving problems of individuals, families, communities and society, contributing to ensuring the implementation of human rights, fairness, social progress and happiness of the people.

In addition, ministries, branches and localities need to promote the tradition of “The whole leaves cover the torn leaves” and the spirit of love, mutual support and assistance of the Vietnamese people; attract the attention of all classes of people to actively participate in helping individuals, families and communities in difficult circumstances and promote the role of social workers./.
