On August 6, pepper prices dropped sharply by 6,000 VND/kg, down to the lowest level of 140,000 VND. Coffee prices also dropped slightly, leaving the 123,000 VND/kg mark.

The Vietnamese coffee market witnessed a slight downward adjustment with a decrease of VND 500/kg compared to yesterday, according to the update at 4:30 a.m. on August 6, 2024.

The average coffee price is currently fluctuating around VND122,500/kg in the provinces of the Central Highlands, with the highest price recorded in Dak Nong at VND122,600/kg.

In Dak Lak, coffee prices on August 6 decreased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, with specific prices in Cu M'gar at 122,500 VND/kg and in Buon Ho at 122,400 VND/kg.

Dak Nong coffee prices also decreased similarly, at VND122,600/kg in Gia Nghia and VND122,500/kg in Dak R'lap.

Lam Dong also recorded a purchase price of green coffee beans of 122,000 VND/kg in districts such as Di Linh, Lam Ha and Bao Loc.

In Gia Lai and Kon Tum, coffee prices decreased slightly to VND122,500/kg in Chu Prong and VND122,400/kg in Pleiku and La Grai.

In the international market, the price of Robusta coffee in London for delivery in September 2024 decreased sharply by 70 USD/ton, at 4,157 USD/ton, and for delivery in November 2024 decreased by 72 USD/ton, at 4,016 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee prices for September 2024 delivery also fell sharply by 4.45 cents/lb, to 226.05 cents/lb, and for December 2024 delivery by 4.90 cents/lb, to 224.65 cents/lb.

Domestic pepper prices today, August 6, are currently fluctuating from 140,000 to 141,000 VND/kg, down 6,000 VND compared to yesterday.

Updated at 4:00 a.m. on August 6, 2024, the average pepper price reached 140,800 VND/kg, with the highest price recorded in Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc at 141,000 VND/kg.
