On the first day of the holiday, Nghe An rain moved from the sea to the forest.

From the early morning of April 29, the weather in Vinh city as well as many other localities in Nghe An such as Cua Lo town, Anh Son, Tuong Duong, Ky Son districts began to turn gloomy and from the early afternoon of the same day it started to rain.

Ms. Nguyen Quynh Hoa, a tourist in Cua Lo town on the afternoon of April 29, shared that her family and friends had been preparing and shopping for a long time, waiting for the holiday to come to Cua Lo beach. Ms. Hoa and her family and friends had made many plans to enjoy the entertainment services and visit the beautiful scenery in Cua Lo, but as soon as they arrived, it started to rain.

"The whole group is currently sitting on the upper floor of the hotel looking at the gray sky and sea, the rain has started to pour down and the wind is quite strong. Everyone is confused because they don't know how they will spend the holidays if the weather is like this" - Ms. Hoa shared.

In Anh Son district, heavy rain also occurred, some sections of National Highway 7 through Anh Son town began to experience local flooding.

Not only in Anh Son district, many communes in Do Luong district also started to have heavy rain with strong gusts of wind.

The North Central Hydrometeorological Center forecasts that due to the influence of the continental cold high pressure increasing and compressing the low pressure trough to the South, from the afternoon and night of April 29, most districts, cities and towns in Nghe An will have moderate to heavy rain, with an average rainfall of about 50ml.

However, on April 30 and May 1, it is forecasted that many localities will stop raining and gradually turn sunny again. Except for some localities such as Vinh City, Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Dien Chau districts, Hoang Mai Town, and Cua Lo Town, light rain will still be maintained on April 30.

On May 2, these localities will continue to have rain and the rainy area may expand to some other districts such as Tan Ky, Nghia Dan, Tuong Duong, Ky Son.
