The festival 'Vietnam - Laos Friendship' will take place for 3 days in Nghe An

The "Vietnam - Laos Friendship" festival will take place for 3 days, from November 15 - 17, at Vinh City Central Park.

The festival will take place with four main activities: Photo exhibition “Vietnam-Laos special friendship and solidarity”; Exhibition to introduce and promote economic, cultural and tourism products; Seminar on “Promoting investment, trade and tourism in Nghe An province”; Vietnam-Laos art exchange.

The new feature of the 2019 program is to enhance exchange activities and promote the image of each country through activities, thereby contributing to promoting investment, trade and tourism between Vietnam and Laos effectively.

Particularly for Nghe An - the province with the longest border, bordering 3 provinces of Laos, for many years there have always been exchange and cooperation activities in many fields of economy, trade, culture, education and training.

At the meeting, the Department of Information and Communications deployed Plan No. 622 of the Provincial People's Committee, assigning specific tasks to relevant departments, branches, localities and units with the requirements set for the 3-day festival to be solemn, cohesive, safe, economical, practical and effective.

The "Vietnam - Laos Friendship Day" held in Nghe An province is an external information activity to promote the image of Vietnam as a reformed and developed country, a reliable partner of Laos. Thereby, consolidating the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
