September 28, 1895:The Huong Son Uprising (Ha Tinh) led by Phan Dinh Phung was launched in 1885 to fight the French army in the Vu Quang mountain area. The battle ended with victory for the insurgents.
September 28, 1945:Uncle Ho called for "sharing rice and clothes" published in the Cuu Quoc Newspaper: "Dear compatriots, from January to July this year, in the North, two million people died of hunger.
