Nghe An: 3 days of New Year's holiday, 325 drivers were fined
(Baonghean.vn) - During the 3-day New Year holiday of 2022, in Nghe An province, there was 1 traffic accident, killing 1 person. Notably, the traffic police force punished 17 cases of alcohol and drug violations.
According to data provided by the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Police), compared to the same period in 2021, the number of accidents did not increase or decrease, the number of deaths increased by 1 person, and the number of injured people decreased by 3 people.
During the 3-day holiday, the Traffic Police organized 214 patrols and inspections, with 1,034 officers participating, thereby detecting and issuing administrative records for 325 cases. Of these, 135 cases were car drivers; 190 cases were motorbikes and scooters.

Accordingly, the authorities have temporarily detained 5 cars and 51 motorbikes; at the same time, they have decided to fine 228 cases, transferring the State Treasury to collect a fine of 128,075,000 VND.
