Nghe An: 4.9 billion VND to support farmers growing winter corn on double-rice land
(Baonghena.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just decided to support 50% of seed price for 7,000 hectares of winter corn grown on land with two rice crops.

On September 16, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 4497/QD-UBND on allocating funds to support winter crop production for corn on land with two rice crops.
The province has 7,000 hectares of corn planted on land with two rice crops this winter, in 14 districts and towns: Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Do Luong, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, Thai Hoa Town, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Quy Hop, Con Cuong, Nghia Dan and Hoang Mai Town. The Provincial People's Committee decided to support 50% of the price of corn seeds. The total amount of money allocated by the Provincial People's Committee to support is 4.9 billion VND.
