Accordingly, at around 10:00 p.m. on July 18, we received a report from local residents about a truck carrying industrial waste dumped at the landfill in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district.

The waste transported to Dien Hong landfill is mainly industrial waste.

The commune police immediately arrived at the scene and made a record of the man transporting the above mentioned garbage.

At the commune police station, a man named Nguyen Van Phan (born in 1968), residing in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, confessed that he collected 8.8 tons of garbage, including various iron barrels, iron paint buckets, iron pipes, etc., in Nghe An province. He then transported it to the landfill with the intention of burning it to get the iron to bring back, and he had asked permission to manage the landfill there.
