(Baonghean.vn) - Although the number of visitors is still low, tourist attractions always pay attention and strictly implement measures to ensure safety and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic when reopening to welcome visitors.

On the morning of April 29, at the Kim Lien National Historical Site (Nam Dan), we noticed that the number of tourists visiting Uncle Ho's hometown was still low, with only occasional groups of 3-5 people. This is not difficult to understand, as the whole country has just gone through a period of social isolation to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

Although the number of visitors is still low, the management board of the relic site is still concerned about the prevention of Covid-19. In front of the main gate, there is a hand sanitizer and body temperature measurement station, and in the campus, there is also a hand sanitizer station, creating conditions for visitors to practice hygiene to prevent the epidemic.

Mr. Nguyen Bao Tuan - Director of Kim Lien National Special Historical Site said: The site started operating again from April 28. On the first day, it welcomed nearly 10 groups with about 100 guests, and today (April 29), the number of visitors is expected to double. Although the number of visitors is still limited, hygiene and epidemic prevention work is still given special attention.

In addition to setting up hand-washing stations and measuring body temperature, security forces also regularly monitor visitors' compliance with regulations on wearing masks to prevent the epidemic. At the same time, they require officers and employees of the relic site to strictly comply with regulations on wearing masks and take measures to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19.

If the number of visitors increases in the coming days, groups of more than 30 people will be required to separate according to the social distancing regulations under Directive 19 of the Prime Minister.

Also today, Cua Lo town - a major tourist destination of the province still has very few visitors. It is known that most of the hotels in the area are in a state of "empty books", with no guests booking rooms, or only a few individual guests booking for a short time. Unlike previous years, at this time most of the rooms are "full".

Mr. Nguyen Van H. - owner of a hotel in Thu Thuy ward said that although he knew there were few guests, he had prepared and cleaned the rooms a few days ago in the hope of welcoming a few guests. And especially, epidemic prevention cannot be neglected, so the reception desk always has hand sanitizer, if a guest comes to contact, he is required to take epidemic prevention measures and wear a mask every time he enters and leaves the hotel.

Restaurants in the beach area are in a similar situation, with no customers but tables, chairs, and kitchens still set up to “wait”. Luckily, there are only about 10 customers a day, friends or acquaintances. Here, we noticed that the restaurants have provided hand sanitizer as required.

The work of preventing and combating epidemics has always been of concern to the authorities at all levels in the town. According to hotel and restaurant businesses, the functional forces of the wards regularly inspect and remind them to implement measures to prevent and combat the spread of the epidemic, ensuring both business and safety for tourists, the community and society.

On this occasion, some tourist attractions such as Pha Lai (Mon Son) and community tourism spots in Con Cuong have also returned to operation and strictly implemented hygiene and Covid-19 prevention and control measures.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of Nghe An Department of Tourism said: "A few days ago, the Department issued an official dispatch directing businesses, tourism service establishments, travel agencies, tourist transportation and restaurants, shopping centers serving tourists; tourist attractions that are allowed to reopen must strictly implement measures to ensure safety and prevent the epidemic in accordance with the spirit of Directive 19 of the Prime Minister and the directives of the Provincial People's Committee".
