This afternoon (July 1), the Department of Education and Training has just issued a document prohibiting extra teaching and learning during summer vacation.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training strictly prohibits organizations and individuals from organizing extra teaching and learning inside and outside of schools in any form during summer vacation (except for organizing review sessions for 9th and 12th graders and training excellent students to participate in national and international competition teams).
The purpose is to create conditions for students to have time to rest, play, participate in activities to develop comprehensively and ensure health in hot weather and complicated epidemics.

To implement seriously, the Department also requires schools to disseminate and thoroughly educate teachers, students and parents to know and strictly implement; Manage teachers on extra teaching, promptly detect, handle and recommend handling according to authority of teachers who violate regulations.
