Nghe An: Issued 250 identification cards for vehicles operating on the 'green transport channel'
(Baonghean.vn) - As of July 26, Nghe An Department of Transport has issued 250 identification cards for vehicles operating on green transport channels to transport businesses and vehicles subject to the application.
Implement the instructions of the Vietnam Road Administration on building Green Lanes for vehicles transporting goods and transporting experts and workers to circulate 24/7 in applicable localities.Directive No.16of the Prime Minister.
Currently, Nghe An Department of Transport has guided and completed procedures to issue Vehicle Identification Cards (with QRCode), giving priority to operations on green transport lanes for units and vehicles in need.

Subjects eligible for registration of Vehicle Identification Cards operating on green lanes include: Cars transporting essential goods serving social security, ensuring production and business activities, export, transporting equipment, supplies and medical biological products serving Covid-19 prevention and control... with routes to, from or through areas under lockdown, isolation or epidemic areas; Cars transporting workers, laborers, experts serving production and business activities with routes to, from or through areas under lockdown, isolation or epidemic areas.

According to the instructions of the Vietnam Road Administration and ofNghe An Department of TransportThen, any transport units and vehicles that are included in the list of those registered for Priority Vehicle Identification Cards operating on green lanes need to access the website www.luongxanh.drvn.gov.vn, then register their email on the above website.
After registration, the software will send a verification code to the business's email address, so that the business can download the registration form and update all information about the vehicle and the unit receiving the registration file. If the business and vehicle are in Nghe An, the file will be sent to the Nghe An Department of Transport for processing. In the registration file, the business also needs to update information about the departure address, the end address, the operating route, and the licensing time.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Head of the Transportation Department, Nghe An Department of Transport said: The application for the Vehicle Identification Card operating on the green lane is all done online, if the vehicle is eligible, it will be granted an operating card. After being approved, the unit will print the vehicle identification card with the QRCode on A5 paper, and at the same time stamp the unit's seal to stick on the glass in front of the steering wheel and print it on A4 paper to stick on the glass on both sides of the vehicle door.
According to Mr. Hung, since July 19, Nghe An province has issued identification cards for vehicles operating on green lanes to 250 vehicles. In addition, Nghe An Department of Transport has also refused to issue cards to 249 vehicles because they are not prioritized for operating on green lanes.
