Nghe An: More than 22 hectares of protective forest converted to serve 10 key projects
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has inspected, reviewed and reported to the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the People's Council to change the purpose of using production forests and protection forests to other purposes for 10 key projects.
The total area of planted forests that must be converted to other uses this time is 89.72 hectares. Of which, 22.68 hectares are protective forests and 67 hectares are production forests.
Specifically:
1. Cua Hoi Amusement Park Project (Cua Lo town):Area of planted forests in the forestry land planning that must convert forest use purposes: 19.92 ha (protection forest 9.3 ha; production forest 10.53 ha).

2. Coastal route project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo town (Nghe An), Nghi Loc district section (passing through districts and towns: Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai town):Area of planted forests in the forestry land planning (LN) that must convert forest use purposes: 4.62 ha (protection forest 0.47 ha; production forest 4.15 ha).
4. Shooting range project of Nghi Loc District Military CommandIn Nghi Yen commune: Area with planted forests in the forestry land planning that must change forest use purposes: 6.22 ha (protection forest).
5. Trung Do Construction Materials Production Complex ProjectIn Nghi Van and Nghi Lam communes, Nghi Loc district: Area with planted forests in the forestry land planning that must change forest use purposes: 31.52 ha (production forest).

7. Vinh Hang Ecological Cemetery Park ProjectIn Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district: Area with planted forests in the forestry land planning that must change forest use purposes: 19.2 ha (protection forest 0.12 ha; production forest 19.08 ha).

8. Investment project to upgrade and expand National Highway 15a(Km 301+500 - Km 333+200 section through Nam Dan district; Km 301+500 - Km333+200 section through Do Luong district): Area with planted forests in the LN land planning that must change forest use purpose: 0.43 ha (production forest).
9. Nam Da Waste Treatment Plant ProjectIn Khanh Son commune, Nam Dan district: Area with planted forests in the forestry land planning that must change forest use purposes: 1.3268 ha (production forest).
10. Project of Cement concrete and hot asphalt concrete mixing station in Len Doi area, Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district: Area with planted forests in the LN land planning that must change forest use purposes: 2.25 ha (protection forest).
