Nghe An: Grocery store caught fire fiercely at night

(Baonghean.vn) - At 7:00 p.m. on May 23, a fire broke out at Cong Thanh grocery store (Hamlet 4, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An), burning all the goods.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong - the first person to discover the fire said: At around 7pm, I went out to the alley and saw black smoke coming from Mr. Cong's shop. I immediately shouted for everyone living nearby, and at the same time called the shop owner and the authorities.

After nearly 2 hours, the fire was extinguished, fortunately there were no human casualties.

Upon receiving the news, Fire Police Department No. 7 - Nghe An Fire Police Department promptly arrived to put out the fire. However, the fire fighting work encountered many difficulties because there was no water supply area near the fire. By 9:00 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically extinguished but the goods and items in the store had been burned down.

It is known that the above store was rented by Mr. Cong's family from an acquaintance since the end of 2015 to sell many types of grocery items. At the time of the fire, Mr. Cong's family was away so there were no casualties.

All the goods in the store burned down.

The family is currently continuing to clean up the scene and overcome the consequences, coordinating with authorities to investigate the cause of the fire.
