According to the announcement, from July 21 to July 27, Ban Ang Hydropower Plant will discharge water to repair some points on National Highway 7 that are at risk of landslides before the rainy season. The flow rate to discharge the lake water level is about 170 m3/s.

Because of prior notice, early in the morning, from the foot of the hydroelectric dam down to Lo, Ang, Khe Na villages... there were hundreds of people gathered on the river bank to fish.

"The water is murky, many fish float up, we just need to bring a net or scoop to catch a few hundred fish" - a resident of Ang village said.
