Nghe An is quarantining and monitoring 2,337 cases to prevent Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - Of the 2,337 cases being quarantined and monitored, 601 cases are being quarantined at home and place of residence; 1,609 cases are being quarantined at the provincial level.
According to information from the Nghe An Department of Health: As of 9:00 p.m. on March 25, the whole province is quarantining and monitoring 2,337 cases, an increase of 373 cases compared to March 24. Of which, 601 cases are being quarantined at home and place of residence (a decrease of 36 cases); 110 cases are being quarantined at the district level (an increase of 10 cases); 1,609 cases are being quarantined at the provincial level (an increase of 407 cases); 17 cases are being quarantined at hospitals (a decrease of 8 cases).

The provincial quarantine facility at Vinh Pedagogical College officially opened to receive quarantined people at 1 a.m. on March 25. 261 citizens quarantined here returned from Laos and Thailand through Cau Treo border gate (Ha Tinh) and Cha Lo (Quang Binh).

Of the 17 cases isolated at the Hospital, there are 8 cases at the Provincial General Hospital; 01 case at Do Luong General Hospital; 01 case at Cua Lo Medical Center; 01 case at the Northwest Regional General Hospital; 02 cases at Anh Son Medical Center; 01 case at Hoang Mai Medical Center; 01 case at Hung Nguyen Medical Center; 01 case at Tan Ky Medical Center; 01 case at Nghia Dan Medical Center.
Of the 17 cases quarantined at this hospital, 12 cases tested negative for SARS-CoV-2, and 5 cases had samples sent to the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology for testing...
Up to this point, Nghe An has not detected any cases of Covid-19 infection. The provincial health sector has collected 342 samples (an increase of 03 samples compared to March 24). Of these, 150 samples have tested negative and the number of samples awaiting results is 192.
