Nghe An sets growth target of 9 - 9.5% in 2019

Specifically, 27/27 main socio-economic targets were approved by the Provincial People's Council, in which the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate increased by 9 - 9.5%. Growth targets for specific sectors are: agriculture, forestry and fishery increased by 4.3 - 4.5%, industry - construction increased by 15 - 16% (industrial production value increased by 19 - 20%); production value of service sectors increased by 7.5 - 8.5%.

The economic structure of the regions is respectively: agriculture, forestry and fishery account for 19-20%, industry - construction 35 - 36%; services 43 - 44%.

Nghe An also set a target of collecting 13,498 billion VND in budget revenue; total export turnover reaching 1.09 billion USD; total social development investment reaching 74 - 75 thousand billion VND; average GRDP per capita reaching 42 - 43 million VND; having at least 27 more communes meeting new rural standards; poverty rate remaining at 4%...

The Provincial People's Council also approved 9 groups of solutions to implement 27/27 targets in 2019. In particular, all levels and sectors will promote the implementation of programs and plans to implement the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress and Resolution No. 26 - NQ/TW of the Politburo on the direction and tasks of developing Nghe An province until 2020; continue to effectively restructure the economy towards improving quality, efficiency and competitiveness, promoting growth and economic restructuring.
