Today (May 22), the Department of Education and Training has just issued a document on implementing the teaching plan to complete the 2019-2020 school year program at all 4 levels.

Accordingly,for preschool education: Strictly implement the direction of the Department of Education and Training in Official Dispatch No. 831/SGD&DT-GDMN dated May 18, 2020 on Guiding a number of key tasks for preschool education in the context of Covid-19 prevention and control.

In particular, it is necessary to adjust the schedule of activities appropriately according to the weather, do not organize activities outside the school yard when it is hot; do not let children play in the school yard when the outside temperature is high.

In addition, schools can coordinate with parents to install enough fans in common rooms and bedrooms (if any); enough drinking water and domestic water to ensure safety for children in hot weather conditions.

For primary school:Educational institutions shall adjust teaching plans accordingly based on the actual conditions of the educational institution with the consent of parents and teachers.

In which, primary education facilities have guaranteed conditions(classroom system, fans, air conditioners...), continue to maintain teaching 2 sessions/day, boarding; duration not exceeding 32 periods/week. Complete the program before June 26, 2020.

For primary schools that cannot organize 2 sessions/day, morning classes will be from Monday to Saturday; duration will not exceed 30 periods/week. Complete the program before July 10, 2020.

For middle and high school:Complete the program according to the adjusted teaching plan according to the Official Dispatch.number1113/BGDĐT-GDTrH dated March 30, 2020 of the Ministry of Education and Training; Official Dispatch No. 542/SGD&ĐT-GDTrH dated April 3, 2020 of the Department of Education and Training guiding the adjustment of teaching content for semester II, school year 2019 - 2020.

The Department has also provided guidance on revision for students. Accordingly, for grades 9 and 12, schools will meet and discuss with parents to organize revision and practice skills for students, preparing for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2020-2021 school year and the 2020 high school graduation exam.

For grades 10 and 11:Depending on the wishes of students and the conditions of the school, we will organize review sessions for them to ensure solid knowledge before the end of the school year.

For grades 6, 7, and 8, during hot weather, schools do not organize extra classes to ensure students' health.

For high-quality key schools, the school agrees with parents to organize teaching and complete the enhanced program according to the adjusted plan (Official Dispatch No. 850/SGD&DT-GDTrH dated May 21, 2020 of the Department of Education and Training).

As planned, the implementation time starts from Monday, May 25, 2020.
