Nghe An welcomes the Caravan traveling through the capitals of Vietnam and Laos.
(Baonghean.vn) - The combination of caravan tours and these destinations allows tourists to experience driving their own car while exploring, interacting with, and learning about the culture and cuisine of Nghe An.
On March 29th and 30th, Nghe An welcomed a group of tourists traveling by self-driving car, starting from Thang Long Imperial Citadel, passing through several points in Laos, and arriving in Nghe An on a 7-day, 6-night itinerary. This was the first time Nghe An had welcomed a tourist group on a caravan tour, a new type of tour through the capitals of both Vietnam and Laos.

Accordingly, the Caravan departed from Hanoi with the participation of the Economic Counselor of the Lao Embassy in Hanoi, representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Association, and the tourism associations of Hanoi, Nghe An, and Son La.
In Nghe An, the delegation entered Vietnam through the Nam Can border gate via National Highway 7 and checked into the Muong Thanh Hotel on the evening of the 29th. This morning (March 30th), they toured and surveyed the route through Nghe An before returning to Hanoi. The delegation was welcomed by representatives from the Nghe An Tourism Association, the Travel Agency Branch, and Con Cuong district.
This is a Caravan tour program themed "Journey Through the Capitals of Vietnam and Laos," organized by tourism businesses from both Vietnam and Laos in response to the Vietnam International Tourism Fair in Hanoi 2018 (VITM). The 7-day, 6-night journey starts in Hanoi, passing through Son La, Sam Neua, Luang Prabang, Vientiane, the Plain of Jars, and Nghe An before returning to Hanoi.

CaravanCaravan is a term referring to a group of travelers that may include merchants, pilgrims, tourists, etc., traveling together. Today, caravan means travelers who drive their own cars on land; a caravan group consists of multiple vehicles. They are allowed to travel by their own vehicles at their destination or across borders by land.
