Nghe An welcomes Caravan group on journey through the capitals of Vietnam - Laos

On March 29 and 30, Nghe An welcomed a group of tourists traveling by self-driving cars from Thang Long Imperial Citadel through many points in Laos and arriving in Nghe An with a 7-day, 6-night itinerary. This is the first time Nghe An has welcomed a group of tourists in the form of Caravan tourism on a new tour through the capitals of Vietnam and Laos.

Accordingly, the Caravan delegation departed from Hanoi with the participation of the Economic Counselor of the Lao Embassy in Hanoi, representatives of the General Department of Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Association, Hanoi, Nghe An and Son La Tourism Associations.

In Nghe An, the delegation entered Nam Can Border Gate via National Highway 7 and returned to Muong Thanh Hotel on the evening of March 29 and this morning (March 30) to visit and survey the route through Nghe An and return to Hanoi. Welcoming the delegation were representatives of the Nghe An Tourism Association, the Travel Association and Con Cuong district.

This is a Caravan tour program with the theme "Journey through the capitals of Vietnam - Laos", in response to the Vietnam International Tourism Fair in Hanoi 2018 (VITM), organized by tourism businesses of both Vietnam - Laos. The journey lasts 7 days and 6 nights from Hanoi through Son La, Sam Neua, Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Plain of Jars and Nghe An and then returns to Hanoi.

Caravanis a term for a group of travelers that can include merchants, pilgrims, tourists… traveling together. Nowadays, Caravan means tourists driving their own cars on the road, Caravan groups traveling in many cars. They are allowed to travel by their own vehicles at the destination or cross the borders of countries by road.
