Nghe An: Nearly 10,000 people hospitalized in 7 days of Tet

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the report of Nghe An Department of Health, during the 7-day Tet holiday, medical examination and treatment facilities organized 4 full levels of staff, providing examination and emergency care for 9,732 patients, an increase of 34.1% compared to Tet Canh Ty 2020.

In7 days of TetDuring the Lunar New Year of Tan Suu 2021 (from February 10-16, 2021), medical examination and treatment work in the area has been well ensured.

During the 7-day Tet holiday, medical examination and treatment facilities organized 4 full levels of staff, examined and provided emergency care to 9,732 patients, an increase of 34.1% compared to Tet Canh Ty 2020; hospitalized 6,008 patients, an increase of 2% compared to Tet Canh Ty 2020; Number of severe or critical cases: 14 cases, an increase of 2 cases.

Total number of suspected emergency examinations related totraffic accidentThere were 882 cases, down 1.81% compared to Tet Canh Ty 2020. There were 3 suspected deaths due to traffic accidents, an increase of 2 cases.

The total number of emergency examinations for suspected accidents related to firecrackers was 2 cases treated at the Provincial General Hospital of Friendship and Quang Khoi General Hospital; there were no deaths due to firecrackers. The total number of examinations for suspected accidents related to fighting was 94 cases, an increase of 25.3% compared to the Lunar New Year 2020, there were no deaths due to fighting accidents... The total number of births including cesarean sections was 827 cases, an increase of 10.9% compared to the Lunar New Year 2020./.
