The province has directed all levels and sectors to promote administrative reform, improve the quality of public services, increase support and remove difficulties for businesses, and issue an action program to implement Resolution No. 35/NQ-CP of the Government on supporting and developing businesses.

In the first 9 months of 2019, 1,259 enterprises were granted business registration certificates, 484 new branches, representative offices, and business locations were established. 484 enterprises returned to operation.

In addition to improving the business investment environment, reforming administrative procedures, and enhancing competitiveness, Nghe An province has also recently paid attention to training and fostering entrepreneurs.

Praising the achievements of the business community and enterprises in the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized that in the past time, despite many difficulties and challenges, the business community of Nghe An has firmly steered enterprises to successfully implement production and business plans and develop more and more. Enterprises have effectively contributed to promoting growth, shifting economic structure, creating jobs, and actively participating in community activities and social security work.

However, speaking to the businessmen, the Provincial Party Secretary was concerned that out of more than 21,000 registered businesses, only 8,000 businesses paid taxes, 80 businesses paid over 10 billion VND in taxes. That shows that Nghe An's business picture is large but not strong, there are no leading businesses, and business development still faces many difficulties. Businesses need to worry to find ways to solve this.

In order for businesses to develop and contribute more to the economy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized that three breakthroughs need to be better implemented in the coming time, including administrative reform, infrastructure improvement and human resource training. Wishing the business community to have rapid and sustainable development, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee entrusted the important responsibilities to the business community and businesses of Nghe An province to continue to unite, promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's homeland, innovate and create to achieve more achievements in production and business.
