Nghe An reduces nearly 70 public service units

Implementing Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate the organization and management system, improving the quality and efficiency of public service units, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has directed agencies, units and localities to review, evaluate and develop reorganization plans.

The goal is to merge and consolidate units with similar functions and tasks to reduce the number of focal points, overcome fragmentation, dispersion and duplication. The focus of innovation and arrangement is on public service units in the health, labor, war invalids and social affairs sectors...

Up to now, the whole province has reduced 68 public service units, including: 24 units under Departments, branches and sectors; 44 units under District People's Committees.

Also in the spirit of innovation and reorganization of public service units, recently 23 units have switched to the mechanism of self-insurance of regular expenditures according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, in which the State does not provide budget for 4,290 staff members in the health sector.
