Nghe An: Two boys tragically drowned while swimming in the dam

The tragic drowning incident occurred at O Dau dam, hamlet 15, Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district at 2:30 p.m. on April 28.

At that time, relatives of two children, Đ.XM and LTK (both born in 2008), residing in hamlet 15, Quynh Van commune, Quynh Luu district, saw that they had not returned home for a long time and were so panicked that they went to look for them.
When arriving at O Dau dam, they discovered the children's clothes and sandals. Suspecting something was wrong, people jumped in to look for them. After finding the two children and bringing them to shore, everyone performed CPR but both children had died.
Mr. Le Xuan Ba - Chairman of Quynh Van Commune People's Committee said that the local government is currently working with relatives to arrange the funeral for the two children.
