Nghe An: Celosia flowers bloom in a field of sunflowers

(Baonghean.vn) - If you have the opportunity to pass by TH's sunflower field with an area of ​​nearly 60 hectares planted this year, along both sides of Ho Chi Minh road, you cannot miss the natural beauty of nearly 1 hectare of cockscomb flowers there.

This celosia field is in Son Nam hamlet, Nghia Son commune, near TH farm.

Celosia is a perennial herbaceous plant, with straight, smooth stems, many branches, 0.3-1m high, up to 2m. Leaves grow alternately, lanceolate, entire, pointed tip, leaf base is also slightly pointed, 8-10cm long, 2-4cm wide. In summer and autumn, it blooms, growing into white flowers with pink tips. The flowers on the top grow in large, thick clusters, spirally spherical, velvety, below the flower stalk are layers of small seed coats. The shape and color of the flower resemble the comb of a rooster, so people often call it Celosia.

Overall, the cockscomb flower field is very attractive, attracting tourists to come and take pictures combined with the mountain scenery.
