Nghe An: More than 1,800 people take leave under '108 regime'
(Baonghean.vn) - Since 2014, Nghe An has resolved to retire under "108 regime" for more than 1,800 people.

"Regime 108" is the abbreviation for Decree No. 108-ND/CP dated November 20, 2014 of the Government on staff streamlining policy.
Implementing this Decree, as of September 2019, Nghe An has resolved to let 1,814 people retire according to the regime, including 72 civil servants, 1,592 public employees, 150 communal civil servants, of which 1,645 people retired before the age, 169 people immediately quit their jobs.
Regarding the policy of streamlining the payroll and restructuring the staff of civil servants and public employees in accordance with Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated April 17, 2015 of the Politburo, up to now, Nghe An province has streamlined 6,989 payrolls, reaching 10.3%.
Of which, civil servants reduced by 264 people (Party and mass organizations reduced by 89 people, State sector reduced by 175 people); civil servants reduced by 6,725 people, of which 4,432 positions were transferred to self-insurance of regular expenditure.
