Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat suggested that Inspection Committees at all levels need to continue to strongly innovate thinking, methods, and ways of organizing, and synchronously implement measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Party's inspection and supervision work.
On the afternoon of June 24, the Central Inspection Commission held an in-person and online conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2025.
Attending the conference were Politburo members: Tran Cam Tu - Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Inspection Commission.

Many clear results
At the Conference, Comrade Tran Van Ron - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission (CIC) presented a report on the results of inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of 2025.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels have paid attention to, led, directed and directly carried out inspection and supervision work with high political determination. The Central Inspection Commission and the Inspection Commissions of localities and units have comprehensively and effectively implemented the tasks prescribed by the Party Charter and the tasks assigned by Party committees and Steering Committees on anti-corruption, waste and negativity at all levels.
For the first time, the inspection staff has been given attention and strengthened through the arrangement of 100% of the members of the provincial and commune level Inspection Committees and equivalent as full-time officials. The policy of arranging the Chairman of the provincial and commune level Inspection Committees and equivalent to be non-locals has been implemented.
Strive for the 2020-2025 term to basically arrange the Chairmen of the Inspection Committees at the commune level who are not local people, so that by the 2025-2030 term, 100% of Chairmen of the Inspection Committees at the commune level are not local people.
For the first time, the Central Inspection Commission advised the Politburo and the Secretariat to establish 19 delegations to grasp the situation, urge, guide, and inspect a number of key work topics for 2025. The quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of inspection and supervision work have been increasingly improved.
Since the beginning of the year, Party committees at all levels have inspected more than 10,150 Party organizations and nearly 55,400 Party members, 12,800 Party committee members. Through inspections, disciplinary action has been taken against 2 Party organizations and 7 Party members. When there were signs of violations, 153 Party organizations and 655 Party members were inspected, concluding that 99 organizations and 465 Party members had violations and shortcomings, and considering disciplinary action against 46 Party organizations and 272 Party members.
The Central Inspection Commission also promptly reviewed and advised the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat to promulgate regulations, rules, guidelines, and procedures on Party inspection, supervision, and discipline work that are synchronous, strict, and consistent with the new Party organization model after the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Along with that, monitoring the decentralization and delegation of power associated with the implementation of 2-level local government, the implementation of database construction... The digital transformation of the Party Inspection sector has achieved many clear results, especially in leadership, direction, and implementation. This is an important step forward, creating the foundation for forming a digital ecosystem of the Party Inspection sector in the coming time.
The report at the Conference also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations that need to be learned from and overcome in the coming time, such as: Some Party committees, Party organizations, and Party committee leaders have not really attached importance to and performed well the leadership and direction of the implementation of the Party's inspection, supervision, and disciplinary enforcement tasks.
Inspection and supervision work in general is still passive, mainly reviewing and handling violations when they occur, lacking initiative in preventing and stopping violations by Party organizations and Party members. Monitoring, urging, checking and supervising the implementation of conclusions after inspection and supervision are still lacking in determination...
Improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision work
Speaking at the conference, comrade Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of 2025 of the Inspection Committees at all levels.

Emphasizing that the entire political system is making great efforts, with high determination, and urgently completing the organization and apparatus arrangement, building a two-level local government, rearranging administrative units, and implementing major revolutionary policies and decisions to develop the country; actively preparing and organizing Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
With the important role of inspection and supervision in Party building, along with the very high requirements in the coming time, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels need to focus on leading and directing the good implementation of key tasks.

In particular, proactively advise, coordinate, and ensure the quality and timely implementation of tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, Party committees at all levels, the Central Steering Committee, and provincial steering committees on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity.
Continue to strongly innovate the thinking, methods, and ways of organizing inspection and supervision work in the spirit of the General Secretary's direction, shifting the focus to effectively implementing supervision work to ensure that resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat are implemented promptly, effectively, in the right direction, and in accordance with regulations; link inspection and supervision work with power control. At the same time, research, advise, direct, and guide the synchronous implementation of measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection and supervision work of Party committees and Inspection Commissions at all levels.

Review, advise and promulgate amendments, supplements and completion of regulations, rules and procedures on inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline to ensure strictness, scientificity, synchronization, unity and conformity with the policy of rearranging administrative units at all levels. Promote comprehensive digital transformation, resolutely and synchronously deploy tasks to meet the requirements of "data monitoring and data inspection" throughout the industry.
In addition, attention should be paid to building a team of inspectors with strong political will, professional expertise, understanding of the law, effective use of digital technology, exemplary moral qualities, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, especially for the new inspection team assigned at the commune level and equivalent.
Comrade Tran Cam Tu requested that the Inspection Commissions at all levels focus on performing well the inspection and supervision work to serve the organization of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Effectively deploy the inspection and supervision work on hot issues of public concern such as state management of land, minerals, energy, food safety, etc., contributing to unlocking resources to serve the country's socio-economic development.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in inspection and supervision work; the Central Inspection Commission awarded Emulation Flags to 10 collectives and Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Party inspection and supervision work.
