Nghe An responds to the 3rd Political Writing Contest to Protect the Party's Ideological Foundation
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 10, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 1078-CV/BTGTU on the implementation of the response to the 3rd Political Writing Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in 2023.
This contest is chaired by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, in coordination with the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Theoretical Council, Communist Magazine, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Journalists Association.

According to the above Official Dispatch, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that localities and units in the whole province base on the Plan and Regulations of the Contest to organize a widespread, substantive, creative, effective, quality implementation, suitable to the characteristics of each locality and unit. Regularly propagate and urge the implementation of the Contest on mass media and social networks so that a large number of cadres, party members, people, especially union members and youth, respond and participate actively.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requires each locality and unit to select at least 15 quality works. For the Provincial Police units, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, Vinh University, the Provincial Political School, Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television, and the Provincial Literature and Arts Association direct and mobilize cadres, soldiers, union members, association members, teachers, and reporters to invest in creating specialized, quality works to participate in the Contest. At the same time, organize the collection and appraisal of works according to the Rules and prepare competition dossiers to send to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department before June 25, 2023 for evaluation and synthesis to send to the Contest Organizing Committee.
Following the success of the two Political Writing Contests on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation in 2021 and 2022, this year's contest has been supplemented and developed in terms of participants, namely Vietnamese people at home and abroad; foreigners with political articles that meet the criteria of the contest. Encourage the participation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, students of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, political schools of provinces and centrally run cities, district-level political centers, cadre schools of ministries, branches and central mass organizations; lecturers, students and students of university and college training institutions; cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers of central and local ministries, branches and mass organizations; members, teams of experts and collaborators of Steering Committee 35 at all levels; officers, cadres, Armed forces soldiers; cadres, reporters, editors, collaborators of central and local press and media agencies; union members and youth of central and local union organizations.
Contest entry categories: In addition to the two categories of newspapers and magazines as in the previous two Contests, this year two more categories of television, video clips and radio have been added.
