Up to now, 11 projects have been completed and handed over for use, of which 5 projects have approved final settlement and 1 project has completed investment preparation work.

The use of surplus revenue to invest in traffic works has the meaning of initiating and mobilizing counterpart funds to attract other investment sources, contributing to speeding up traffic projects, meeting the general development requirements of the province and the travel needs of the people, especially in mountainous, remote and isolated areas. From the construction of 9 suspension bridges, 31 ferry piers with potential traffic safety risks have been eliminated.

Giám đốc Sở Giao thông - Vận tải khẳng định
Director of the Department of Transport Nguyen Hong Ky affirmed that the excess revenue from the budget allocated for traffic projects creates a great driving force to attract other investment sources to speed up traffic connection progress in the province.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council's monitoring delegation noted difficulties and problems such as the budget surplus allocated was still low compared to the total investment of the project, many projects only guaranteed a rate of 6-10%, affecting the construction progress.

Phó trưởng ban Kinh tế - Ngân sách HĐND tỉnh Trần Quốc Chung nêu lên một số vấn đề cần quan tâm
Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council Tran Quoc Chung raised a number of issues that need attention in capital allocation.

The monitoring delegation also requested the Department to pay attention to arranging and using excess revenue for weak and urgent projects; coordinate with relevant sectors and investors to speed up the settlement of completed projects put into use.

In the context of difficult provincial budgets, it is necessary to proactively expand foreign relations to attract investment sources for traffic works, meeting the general development of the province.
