Nghe An inspects energy usage at public service units and key facilities

On June 13, the delegation began inspection at Vinh City People's Committee andHoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Corporation. Reports at the units show that from the end of May and the beginning of June, based on the instructions of Nghe An Electricity Company, Vinh City People's Committee and Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Corporation have had solutions to save and use electricity effectively.

Specifically, implementing the province's direction, Vinh City People's Committee has actively promoted and directed Vinh Urban Infrastructure Investment and Development Joint Stock Company to proactively reduce hours and turn off public lighting equipment on some streets, thereby reducing 20% ​​of total electricity consumption for public lighting activities.

Hoang Thi Loan Textile Joint Stock Corporation invested in renovating equipment and rearranging working hours and shifts to avoid peak hours, thereby reducing electricity consumption from 3.7-3.8 million kWh to 1.7 million kWh/month.

Along with inspection and supervision, the delegation noted difficulties and obstacles from business establishments in implementing the goal of regulating and cutting down to save electricity.

At the same time, guide key energy-using units and facilities to develop annual and 5-year roadmaps and plans for economical and efficient energy use.Law on energy saving and efficiency; promptly encourage and reward models and examples of energy saving use...

It is expected that from now until the end of June, the delegation will inspect 10 agencies and units using the state budget, namely the People's Committees of Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Con Cuong, Nghi Loc, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai, Thai Hoa, Quy Hop districts and key energy-using facilities of the province, namely TH Milk Joint Stock Company, Luxshare - ICT Nghe An Company Limited, Tan Hoang Khang Joint Stock Company, Nghe An Agricultural and Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company - Nghe An Dairy Factory, Thanh Chuong Wood Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, Saigon Packaging Group Joint Stock Company.
