On the afternoon of June 28, the Central Organizing Committee held an online conference to report on the situation and results of Party building and organization work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy work for the last 6 months of 2021 in the Northern region.

In the first 6 months of 2021, in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizing committees of the Provincial Party Committee and the City Party Committee in the Northern region, together with the entire Party building organization sector, have promoted the spirit of community and responsibility, effectively carried out the "dual task" of both preventing and fighting the epidemic and completing assigned political tasks.

Outstandingly, coordinate in advising on the preparation, organization and monitoring of the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term to ensure great success. Timely advise on perfecting key leadership positions and State leadership positions closely, in accordance with procedures and regulations, especially creating high unity and consensus.

Advise on thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; promptly promulgate and organize the implementation of the entire term work program and the 2021 work program on Party building and organization with important and urgent contents to successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; concretize the amendments, supplements and promulgation of regulations, rules and guidelines on Party building and organization work in accordance with the practical situation. The work of training and fostering cadres continues to receive attention.

Recommend that the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee promptly issue regulations on management of organizational apparatus and staff; on functions and tasks to replace old regulations that are no longer suitable after merging, converting organizational apparatus, and streamlining staff according to Resolutions 18 and 19 of the Central Executive Committee.

To deploy tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the Central Organizing Committee requested provincial, municipal and city Party Committees to advise on perfecting leadership positions after the election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.
