Nghe An holds first online conference on Covid-19 prevention and control at commune level

On the morning of September 17, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province held an online conference for the whole province on Covid-19 prevention and control.

Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control; Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, Commander of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center chaired at the Provincial People's Committee bridge.

The conference was held online to 21 districts, cities, towns and 441/460 communes, wards and towns in the whole province with a total of more than 7,800 delegates who are members of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control from the province to the grassroots level.

This is the first time the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province has held an online meeting on epidemic prevention and control at the commune level, after the online conference system at the commune level was launched in the morning of the same day.

The meeting took place in the context that, over the past month, since August 14, when cases of the disease reappeared at Vinh city wholesale market, the whole province has resolutely implemented anti-epidemic measures.

From 1 district-level locality having to implement enhanced Directive 16; 13 districts and towns implementing Directive 16; 7 districts implementing Directive 15, up to now, the epidemic situation in Nghe An has been basically controlled, many localities have begun to move to a new normal state.

Specifically, according to the current classification of risk groups as follows: High risk group (orange zone) includes: Vinh city, Dien Chau district, Nam Dan district, Que Phong district. Medium risk group (yellow zone) includes: Cua Lo town, Hung Nguyen district.

The new normal group (green zone) includes the following districts and towns: Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Quynh Luu, Hoang Mai town, Tan Ky, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Nghia Dan, Thai Hoa town, Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son.

After a month of peak epidemic prevention, many lessons have been learned; at the same time, at this time, there are urgent demands on how to maintain the achievements of epidemic prevention, not to let the epidemic return as it did just now, to stabilize the new normal state in the long term to restore production capacity, develop the economy and society in the context of the epidemic nationwide and the province's vaccination rate is still low.

At the meeting, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy - Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control directly asked questions and requested leaders of a number of district, commune and ward level units in the province to go straight to good, creative and experienced ways and propose specific solutions in epidemic prevention, especially very important issues such as: Tracing and managing people entering and leaving the province and district; coordination in Covid-19 prevention and control; management of markets, shopping malls, schools, hospitals, transportation, goods circulation... thereby discussing and deciding on long-term and effective epidemic prevention strategies in the province.

Nghe An launches Covid-19 Information Portal
