Nghe An launches 'campaign' to promote tourism after Covid-19
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to restore and promote the growth of domestic and international tourists to Nghe An, the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to strengthen the promotion and advertising of Nghe An tourism after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Implementing Directive 19/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation and the Conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the meeting of the Government Standing Committee on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, with the viewpoint of directing the implementation of the "dual goal" of proactively deciding to apply epidemic prevention and control measures while promoting socio-economic activities in accordance with the specific conditions of the locality, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Plan No. 238 on Strengthening the promotion of Nghe An tourism after the Covid-19 epidemic in 2020.

The purpose of the Plan is to strengthen communication and promotion of the image of the country, people, destinations, and typical and attractive tourism products of the locality, creating momentum to boost tourism growth. In particular, priority is given to promoting, stimulating, and attracting domestic and intra-provincial tourists after the Covid-19 epidemic is controlled and contained.
At the same time, attract proactive, active participation, association, cooperation, close coordination, forming a stimulus alliance between key tourism and service localities in the province. Stimulate Nghe An people to spend on tourism activities in the province.

The requirement is to choose a variety of forms, communication content, promotion, and advertising that are clear and suitable for each tourist market. Prioritize the application of achievements of the 4th industrial revolution in advertising and promotion work.
Propaganda and promotion work must create widespread influence, focus on key points and create good and deep impressions. Build an attractive stimulus program with high feasibility, with the communication message: "Nghe An - a safe and different destination", "Nghe An people travel to Nghe An".

The implementation period is determined from May to December 2020. The form of expression includes clips, reports, experience programs, in-depth articles promoting Nghe An tourism, associated with holidays and major events, posted and broadcast on central and local newspapers and radio stations.
In particular, Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station maintain and expand special pages and columns; increase clips, reports, and articles promoting the homeland, people, destinations, and culture of Nghe An. At the same time, launch a promotional program through images to spread on social networks about Nghe An - a safe and unique destination.
Organize a conference to discuss tourism stimulus solutions; tour programs; organize the formation of an intra-provincial stimulus alliance; launch and implement the Nghe An tourism stimulus program; welcome and work with domestic and foreign travel agencies and press agencies to conduct surveys; organize a program to introduce Nghe An tourism in conjunction with tourism fairs and events; issue tourism products and publications, etc.

The Department of Tourism shall take the lead in implementing the contents of the Plan. Relevant departments, branches, units and districts, cities and towns shall develop specific implementation plans and strengthen coordination to achieve high efficiency in stimulating tourism demand.
