Nghe An collects nearly 75 billion VND in budget every day in the first 4 months of 2025
In the first four months of 2025, the total state budget revenue in Nghe An province reached more than VND 8,980 billion, with an average daily revenue of nearly VND 75 billion.

The above result is equal to 50.7% of the estimate and increased by 5.6% over the same period last year; thereby showing positive signals in the province's budget collection management right from the beginning of the year.
The above information was announced by the leader of Nghe An Department of Finance at the regular meeting of April 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee held this morning, May 7.

Of which, domestic revenue accounts for a large proportion with more than VND 8,389 billion, reaching 52.4% of the estimate and increasing by 5% over the same period in 2024.
Revenue from land use fees alone brought in VND2,960 billion, reaching 65.8% of the estimate. Although down 13.9% compared to the same period last year, it still made an important contribution to the total revenue.
Excluding revenue from land use fees and lottery, the province's domestic revenue reached VND5,411 billion, equal to 47.1% of the estimate and a sharp increase of 19.2% over the same period.
The above results are positive indicators showing the recovery of production and business in the area as well as the effectiveness in management and exploitation of revenue sources.

In addition, revenue from import-export activities reached 522.6 billion VND, completing 32.1% of the estimate and increasing 5.3% over the same period. This is a positive result in the context of global trade fluctuations, showing that import-export turnover in the area is recovering well.
Achieving more than half of the budget revenue estimate after only the first four months of the year is the result of many drastic solutions in the direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee and the efforts of sectors and localities in expanding the collection base, preventing revenue loss, strengthening inspection, supervision and supporting businesses.

In 2025, Nghe An aims to achieve a budget revenue of 26,000 billion VND, much higher than the assigned plan of 17,726 billion VND. Of which, domestic revenue excluding land use fees and lottery is 13,955 billion VND; revenue from land use fees is 10,270 billion VND and revenue from import-export activities is 1,650 billion VND.
This goal creates a solid resource for investment in socio-economic development, ensures social security in the area and achieves the goals of the Resolution of the Congress of Delegates of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
To realize the plan, tax and customs authorities and relevant departments and branches continue to coordinate closely, closely follow targets, proactively and synchronously deploy solutions to exploit revenue sources, prevent revenue loss, create a favorable environment for taxpayers and promote production and business.
