Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh attended and shared the Great Unity Day with the people of Trung Hong hamlet, Dien Chau commune.
On the morning of November 12, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and shared joy with the people of Trung Hong hamlet, Dien Chau commune on the occasion of the National Great Unity Day.
The program was organized by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune in coordination with Trung Hong hamlet. Also attending were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, and a large number of people.
Speaking and sharing joy with the cadres and people of Trung Hong hamlet, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, humanity, and loyalty, the precious values of our nation, which are also the characteristics of the people of Nghe An.
He particularly noted that, in the recent natural disasters, especially storms No. 3, No. 5 and No. 10 which caused heavy damage to people, property and people's lives, that tradition continued to be strongly promoted.
The spirit of "mutual love and support" and "helping each other" has become the common thread that runs through the country, fostering the mettle, strong will and self-reliance of Nghe people, helping the community overcome difficulties together and soon stabilize their lives.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Le Hong Vinh warmly commended and congratulated the results that the cadres and people of Trung Hong hamlet have achieved in the past time.
In addition to the achievements, we also need to frankly acknowledge that there are still many difficulties and challenges facing the Party Committee, the Government, the Front and the People. Especially, in the context of the whole country changing strongly, entering a new era, the requirements for the work of the Front and patriotic emulation movements at the grassroots level are increasingly higher and more comprehensive.
Therefore, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the need to continue inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the spirit of great national unity; stepping up the patriotic emulation movement, promoting democracy, and strengthening social consensus.
In particular, he requested the cadres and people of Trung Hong hamlet to continue to effectively implement the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", associated with taking care of the cause of great national unity in the new situation. Promoting the role of the people as the main subject, each residential area needs to be proactive and creative in building self-governing residential areas; promoting the movement of helping each other develop the economy, reduce poverty sustainably, protect the living environment, and build a green - clean - beautiful landscape.
In the context of the whole province implementing a two-level government, socio-political organizations and mass organizations need to continue to consolidate and improve the quality of activities of the Front Working Committee in residential areas. The Front Working Committee must truly promote its core role in grasping the situation, listening to and reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the people; effectively participating in social supervision and criticism; promptly reconciling and resolving conflicts right at the grassroots level, contributing to strengthening trust, maintaining political and social stability, and preventing hot spots from arising.
At the same time, each citizen needs to be alert, selective in information on social networks, proactively access official news sources to correctly understand and well implement the policies of the Party, State and province.
The head of the Provincial People's Committee also proposed to continue promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", the spirit of "Mutual love and affection", "The whole leaf covers the torn leaf" in the whole society; caring for, taking care of, and helping war invalids, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services to the revolution, policy beneficiaries and the disadvantaged.
In particular, in the context of Nghe An having just suffered heavy damage from storms No. 3, No. 5 and No. 10, it is necessary to continue spreading the activities of "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", supporting people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilizing production and life, clearly demonstrating the affection, responsibility and bravery of Nghe An people.
He also hopes that the Party Committee, the hamlet executive committee and the people will continue to promote democracy at the grassroots level, maintain discipline, so that everyone "lives and works according to the Constitution and the law". Strictly implement the regulations on democracy at the grassroots level, community conventions and covenants; mobilize people to build a healthy cultural lifestyle, say no to social evils and violations of the law; actively participate in protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, contributing to building a peaceful, united and civilized residential area.
At the same time, continue to preserve and promote the cultural identity and good lifestyle of the nation; well implement the criteria for building cultural families, cultural villages, and civilized residential areas; practice civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, and festivals; promote vibrant and healthy cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities.
“Encourage the building of community cultural models, “exemplary grandparents and parents - filial children and grandchildren”, spreading moral values, humanity, and affection - a solid spiritual foundation to strengthen the great national unity bloc and build Nghe An to be more and more developed and sustainable”, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared, advising the people of Trung Hong hamlet; at the same time, the commune needs to organize cultural, artistic and sports activities to create a healthy playground for people, especially during the upcoming Tet holiday.
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) and the National Great Unity Day 2025, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to Trung Hong hamlet including 5 million VND in cash and gifts in kind; 10 gifts for 10 households in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1 million VND in cash and gifts in kind.
Trung Hong Hamlet was established on the basis of merging Trung Thanh and Hong Yen hamlets, with an area of 3 km², including 410 households with 2,100 people, divided into 18 self-governing groups.
People's lives are increasingly stable and developed thanks to the effective exploitation of local potentials and advantages. Production and business sectors are diversified: Fishing accounts for 10%, seafood processing 20%, services - trade 20%, dry rice paper production 20% and other sectors 30%.
Average income per capita is currently estimated at about 70 million VND per year, with only 2 poor households and 7 near-poor households remaining.
The Trung Hong hamlet Party cell currently has 29 party members, directly leading economic, cultural - social, national defense - security activities and Party building work, contributing to the hamlet's increasingly comprehensive and sustainable development.
Promoting the tradition of being a cultural hamlet, over the years, the hamlet has always maintained and improved cultural criteria, promoted the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" associated with building advanced, exemplary new rural areas.
In order to ensure security, order and create a safe living environment, the hamlet has invested more than 45 million VND to install 20 security cameras at key locations, initially bringing clear results and being highly appreciated by the people.
