Nghe An: A woman died unexpectedly in a motel

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 8, Major Vo Minh Duc, Deputy Chief of Police of Le Loi Ward, Vinh City (Nghe An) said that a 48-year-old victim had just committed suicide in a motel, suspected to be due to a deadlock in life.

According to the report of Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (born in 1954), owner of Sao Mai motel located at 182 Truong Chinh street, Le Loi ward to the authorities as follows: At 12 noon on June 7, a woman around 50 years old without an ID card came to rent a room.

At 5:30 p.m. that same day, when the owner came to knock on the door, the guest did not respond. Thinking that something was wrong, the owner opened the door and found the woman lying face down on the floor, already dead.

Le Loi Ward Police organized to protect the scene and investigate the incident. The victim was identified as Ms. Nguyen Thi Lai (born in 1968, residing in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City). The victim died from suspected overdose of sleeping pills.

According to the victim’s relatives, Mrs. Lai has two children and her husband has passed away. The second daughter is being treated in the hospital. It is likely that due to difficult circumstances and not having enough money to treat her daughter, Mrs. Lai had suicidal thoughts and sought death.

The victim's family then did not request a forensic examination but asked for the victim's body to be taken home for burial.
