At the conference, delegates listened to representatives of the Office of the Steering Committee for International Economic Integration provide the latest information on the world situation; the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP); the EVFTA; US-China trade relations. Representatives of the Ministry of Finance provided information on the content: Roadmap and market opening commitments of the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that Vietnam participates in.

The conference heard representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development present information on the topic "Orientation for developing Vietnam's agricultural export market: Issues that localities and businesses need to pay attention to".

International integration has become one of the important driving forces for socio-economic development, increasing national strength.

In recent years, Nghe An has actively implemented the Party and Government's international integration policies and guidelines, and has achieved certain results in attracting external resources such as FDI, ODA, and NGOs to build infrastructure and improve people's lives.

At the same time, strengthen and expand relations with countries around the world; expand export markets, promote production, create more jobs, reduce poverty, contribute to enhancing the image and position of Nghe An province in particular and Vietnam in general.

International integration has had a positive impact on the import and export activities of Nghe An province. Accordingly, the total export turnover increased from 211.4 million USD in 2008 to 1,050 million USD in 2018, and is expected to reach 1.2 billion USD by 2020. The export market has expanded to 96 countries and territories around the world.

The number of Nghe An enterprises continues to increase every year, to date there are 150 enterprises specializing in import and export activities. The competitiveness of Nghe An enterprises and products has been improved.

However, in the world, international integration is still taking place strongly at many levels and fields, from global, regional and bilateral scope, which will create favorable conditions as well as challenges for Nghe An in the coming time.
